A New Paradigm of Healing in Health Care
The FairCare Triple Bottom Line Sustainable Healthcare Model is a supportive, customizable framework, addressing demographic, environmental, economic and social issues facing healthcare systems.
The elements of this new model have been organized into three categories for a comprehensive approach to sustainability referred to as the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) or the three pillars; Planet, People and Prosperity (Profit), often referred to as 3P. This new way of measuring organizational success speaks to the potential to create a new paradigm in healthcare. This industry, which has been excessively driven by fiscal compliance and productivity and less through human context, is ripe for and in need of transformation.
An expanded awareness of what makes up the bottom line, along with identification of resources that permit profitability, allow us to change our lens so that we may have the vision to see our way through challenging times with creative solutions inspired by hope, integrity, accountability and optimism, knowing that we are informed by the generations that have come before us and responsible to the generations that follow us.
